Billy Decker dominates Super DIRTcar at Eldora
One of the highlights of the of the Super DIRTcar Series tour is its stop at Tony Stewart’s Eldora (Ohio) Speedway. Tuesday night, Billy Decker put on a dominating driving performance on the half-mile, high-banked oval, as he led the 75-lap, caution-filled main event from start to finish.
The impressive victory also vaulted the Unadilla driver into the first position in the Super Series point standings. The victor shared the front row of the 30-car, big-block modified starting field with Pat Ward and the Genoa pilot ran strong all night to take the second position. Matt Sheppard made it up to third after starting fifth and Brett Hearn repaired some early mechanical problems to wind up fourth.
